Tony Brothers is entering his 32nd season as an NBA official. Over his distinguished career, he has officiated 1,854 regular-season games and 215 playoff games, including 14 NBA Finals appearances.

Throughout his career, Tony has been selected to officiate numerous prestigious international and special events, including the 1996 Mexico Challenge, the 1998 Schick Rookie All-Star Game, the 1999 McDonald’s Championship in Milan, Italy, the 2008 and 2018 NBA China Games, the 2009 and 2024 NBA All-Star Games, the 2014 Global Games in Berlin and Turkey, and the 2018 NBA Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Africa Game.

Before joining the NBA, Tony spent four seasons officiating in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA), where he worked three CBA Finals and a CBA All-Star Game. He also has collegiate officiating experience at the NCAA Division III level and seven years of high school officiating experience in Virginia, including three state tournament appearances.
